The dutch writer Anna Enquist plublished a story of James Cook in 2005.

“Captain Cook” is a historical opera in three acts of Sands Formann and Noah Brandt published in 1893. In 1987, the journeys of James Cook has been imaged into a australo-german film, the name of the film is “Captain James Cook”.

The filmmaker Gene Roddenberry was inspired by James Cook to create the character of James T. Kirk in Star Trek.

A story traces the first expedition of Cook recounted by a young clandestine who’s became cabin boy on board of the Endaevour Boat (Nicholas Young). The story is called “Vers des terres inconnues”.
